Summer Shoot Survey
This is not a league. This is for individual shooters
No entry fee, no prizes, no opponents, just fame and glory
Shoot at Paradise or Dudley
The format is described below.

The Villages Archery Club
Summer Competition Shooting Series
Competition takes place during Monday Morning Club Shoot
Type of shoot will vary each week (300 one week, 600 the next week)
No need to pre-register
No entry fee, no prizes (at least for now)
Shoot at Paradise or at Dudley
Class changes will be effective for

No makeup days, all shoots take place on Monday morning
Results will be posted on Club Website
Week 1:
We will shoot a 20 yard 300 (5 Spot/Single Spot) round
All shooters will shoot 20 yards
Maximum score is 300 points. X’s used as tiebreakers only.
Shooters will be classified in Class Brackets based on score
(Class brackets for 300 and 600 are described below)
Note: Results of your first shoot will determine your Class Bracket
Shoot against others in your
Class Bracket only
One winner per Class Bracket
Move up in Class Bracket as scores improve
Note: Class Bracket examples (300 round, we can adjust bracket scoring ranges as necessary)
Class A1 Bracket scores 290 - 300
Class A2 Bracket scores 270 - 289
Class A3 Bracket scores 230 - 269
Class A4 Bracket scores 190 - 229
Class A5 Bracket scores 00 - 189
Week 2:
We will shoot a 600 round
Class Bracket determined by results of previous week scores.
20 arrows will be shot at each distance
Each arrow is worth a maximum of 10 points
Maximum score is 600 points. X’s used as tiebreakers only.
Note: Class Level and Bracket examples (600 round we can adjust bracket scoring ranges as necessary)
Class A1 Archers shoot 40 yards, 50 yards and 60 yards
Class A2
Archers shoot 40 yards, 50 yards and 60 yards
Class A3
Archers shoot 30 yards, 40 yards and 50 yards
Class A4
Archers shoot 20 yards, 30 yards and 40 yards
Class A5
Archers shoot 10 yards, 20 yards and 30 yards
600 Round Bracket Scores
Class A1 Bracket scores 576 - 600
Class A2 Bracket scores 541 - 575
Class A3 Bracket scores 456 - 540
Class A4 Bracket scores 381 - 455
Class A5 Bracket scores 00 - 380
Shooter’s score after previous event will identify Class Bracket
Shoot against others in your Class Level
Move up in Class Bracket as scores improve
Progression through Class Brackets is automatic dependent on scores as described above. This means the results of the last shoot you participated in defines your class for the next shoot you participate in.
