Mary Ann Hartman joined the Villages Archery Club in November 2009. She was 74. That is when she first picked up a bow. She was a wife, mother of five, and owner of a farm in Sergeantsville, NJ. Not just any farm but the largest state licensed commercial goat dairy. In her spare time, she also ran the state 4-H dairy goat shows. Helped with the Boy Scout Horse program, 4-H cooking, sewing clubs, Literacy Volunteers of American tutor and tutor trainer for literacy and ESL for Hunterdon County, NJ. She was the first woman appointed to the N.J. Dairy Council. In 2013, she volunteered with the Villages Recreation Department to teach Archery 101 classes. Since that time, she has taught over 4,900 students. Mary Ann is an NFAA & USA Level II Instructor.
