It’s that time again. Time to start planning for the 14th edition of the Villages Winter 600 Handicap Archery League.
This is a summary of key information concerning the League:
As mentioned above, this is a handicap league. If you wish to join the league and haven’t participated within the last 2 years, you will need to establish a handicap. It’s very easy to do … you just need to shoot! That is, you need to shoot a minimum of six 600 rounds (the more, the better) prior to the end of the year. One way to do that is to join club members in the Monday morning shoots held at 10 AM on Monday mornings at the Paradise range, but you can also shoot them at either range on your own time. In either case, please email me your scores and dates, as you shoot them, to the email address listed below. Returning league members: please send me any recent scores you have shot, or will shoot, and get those scores and dates to me through the end of this year in order to update your handicaps.
Teams will be created during the first week of January, and an email will be sent to all participants with details.

Please visit that link and express your intent, and it’s helpful even if it is just to say No. You can select Yes, No, Maybe, or Sub if you wish to only be available as a Sub (you would still need to establish a handicap if you haven’t already done so).
Any questions or handicap scores can be directed to me at [email protected].
